Comments: This broadly conical deciduous tree grows 60' tall by 40' wide. An uncommon selection from England. Summer leaf color is lustrous, bright green. Rich purple, orange and yellow fall color. Twigs are smooth, not corky as in most sweetgums. Fruit has prickles so sharp, rabbits will not walk over them even to get to their favorite edibles.
