Comments: A broadly conical deciduous, moderate-to-fast-growing selection, 60' in height and half that in spread at maturity. Star-shaped, 5-lobed leaves are finely mottled with white variegation. Fall color purplish red to orange from late September into November. Fruit is 1½" round, spiky ball persisting into winter. Nice as a shade or specimen tree.
