Comments: A low-growing, semi-evergreen to deciduous shrub growing to 5' tall with a variable spread. June flowers open white, 8" long. Leaves, 4" long, are medium to dark lustrous green in summer and take on attractive orange to red pigments in autumn. Stems are fine-textured, varying from medium green to reddish purple and provide additional winter accent. Fruits mature as dark brown capsules that persist throughout winter.
