Comments: A female selection originating in Kentucky around 1976. Grows to 9' tall by 6' wide and forms an attractive broadleaf evergreen shrub. Leaves are deep glossy green and slightly twisted with sparse spines along the margins. In the presence of a suitable male pollinator fruits ripen reddish orange in late summer or early fall and persist into winter.
