Comments: A vigorous, densely branched broadleaf evergreen tree or large shrub with a compact, columnar habit to 12' tall. This selection has excellent dark olive green leaves, 1-2" long with spiny margins. Abundant vivid red fruits ripen in late summer or early autumn and persist into winter. Requires a male pollinator to ensure fruit production. Reputed to be harder than most Foster hollies.
