Comments: This deciduous shrub holly is a late-flowering female (Southern type) that produces copious red fruits in the presence of a suitable male pollinator. The male selection 'Southern Gentleman' is a recommended male clone to pollinate this selection. These clones were selected by Simpson Nursery (Vincennes, IN) and grow 8-10' tall if not pruned. A wonderful selection to provide winter interest and wildlife food during winter.
