Comments: An upright to arching deciduous shrub to 15' tall. Young stems are light brown to dark gray and characterized by a zigzag, horizontal habit. Leaves are bronze-red in spring and later medium green. No fall color. Bright red berries persist into winter. Tolerates wet soil. Both male and female plants are required to ensure fruiting.
