A broadly conical, broadleaf evergreen tree 15-20' tall. Lustrous dark green leaves. Flowers open in May as tiny, creamy white clusters in the leaf axils. Fruits ripen by late summer to display colorful, 1/4" wide berries that persist into winter. Requires a male pollinator to ensure fruiting. Valued for its beautiful disease free foliage and good winter hardiness.
