Comments: A broadly conical, broadleaf evergreen to 15-20' tall. Leaves are glossy dark green, 2-4" long and spiny tipped along the margins. Flowers open in May as tiny creamy white clusters in the leaf axils. Fruits ripen in late summer appearing as red berries that persist into winter. Requires a male pollinator to ensure fruiting.
