Comments: This female selection has a distinctly different habit; columnar rather than conical. Grows to around 20' tall by 15' wide. A rapid grower with exceptional dark green leaves having few spines. Solitary, dull-white flowers open in May. Berries are dark red and contrast nicely with the leaves. Best used as a specimen but could also work as a tall hedge. Requires a male American holly nearby for fruit production.
