Comments: A broadleaf, conical evergreen growing 25' tall and 15' wide in 30 years. A heavy-bearing selection with orange fruit in October, turning red in winter. Has large dark leaves with spines. One of the finest cultivars in The Arboretum's Holly Test Garden. Use as a specimen or screen planting. Requires a male American holly nearby for fruit production.
