Comments: This evergreen shrub grows to 6' tall with a compact habit. Leaves are glossy green. Red coloration occurs on the new growth. Greenish white flowers appear in May but are not showy. In the presence of a suitable male pollinator, black berries appear in the fall. Plant in full sun in rich, moist, slightly acid soil.
