Comments:
A rounded, compact deciduous shrub growing to 10' or more. Leaves are medium to dark green, up to 3" long. Fall color is an unexciting yellow. Flowers are tiny, and in the presence of a suitable male pollinator, give rise to 1/4" red fruit. Fruits are the most persistent of the deciduous hollies and remain effective till the following spring.
