Comments: A compact conical broadleaf evergreen with extremely dark green, narrow, spiny leaves on green to dark purple stems. It grows 4-5' high and 30" in spread. White, fragrant flowers appear in May and if a suitable male pollinator is present, bright red fruits can be produced. A nice addition to the shrub border.
