Plant Patent Info.:

Comments:
A Conard Pyle Nursery introduction in 1979, this is one of several cultivars comprising the well-known "blue hollies." This evergreen shrub will grow to about 6' tall and wide and bears brightly red colored berries stalked in pairs or threes, 1/3" wide. Because China holly (Ilex cornuta) is one of the parents in the hybrid, leaves are dark, glossy green and prominently spine tipped. Protection from deer browse is strongly recommended.
