Species native to s.e. United States

Comments:
This outstanding selection of summer flowering deciduous US native shrub is a compact and floriferous selection of the larger-growing species. The 5' tall and wide plant fits into smaller gardens providing multisession appeal with cone-shaped panicles of white flowers from late spring through summer, eventually drying on the plants for winter. Fall colors of yellow, red, and orange- splashed with purple and the winter effect of dried flowers on the attractive exfoliating bark round out the season.
