Comments: A deciduous flowering shrub growing 6' tall and wide. Course leaves may be 12" across, deeply lobed, resembling an oak leaf. Flowers occur on second-year wood in early summer (June/July), up to 8" across, creamy white quickly turning red. Fall color beautiful burgundy. Use as accent or specimen in the landscape.
