Comments: A deciduous shrub reaching 10-12' tall and 6-8' wide in 10 years. Leaves are medium to dark green, 3-5" long, opposite and simple. Fall color is yellow, at best. Valued for its very large (12-18") flowering heads, white fading to pink, in mid- to late summer. Flowers take on a typical "Queen Anne's lace" pattern, having relatively large, sterile florets surrounding much smaller, fertile female flowers.
