Comments: This is a medium-sized shrub that may reach 8-12 ft. tall and 6-10 ft. wide. The showy sterile 10 inch-long flower clusters are white in early summer but turn pinkish and then rosy-red by late summer and fall. It was a seedling of Hydrangea paniculata 'Interhydia'. It is a patented plant and was assigned to Monrovia Nursery which also holds its registered trademark name, Angel's Blush®. Due to its large size, it is usually ruled out for small gardens. It is a perfect specimen plant for the dappled shade garden and is highly tolerant of urban pollution.
