Comments: One of many selections introduced from Europe. In our collection this deciduous shrub has performed admirably bearing consistently large, cone-shaped flowers in late summer. Flowers are white, tinged with pink and consist of almost all male florets. Leaves are rather coarse, opposite, 3-6" long, dark green with just a trace of yellow fall color. This 4-6' tall and can be established in the spring or fall. Nice in the shrub border or in a mass.
