Comments: This fast-growing, deciduous shrub can reach 3 to 4' in height. Leaves are 4 to 8" long and medium-green in color. The tightly rounded clusters of flowers are either blue or pink depending on soil pH (acid soil produces the blue flowers). Flowering time is July through August. Fruit is a capsule which is not showy. Works well in a shrub border. Does best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
