Comments: A deciduous flowering shrub with very large flower heads. Dark green leaves cover the stout, smooth, shiny brown upright stems. Huge flower heads occur on new growth in mid-June to mid-July, with a slight green tinge then white, measuring an incredible 12" wide! Grows 4' tall and 5' wide. Easily rejuvenated in late winter, early spring and still enjoy flowers that year. Grow in light to part shade, in moist, well-drained soil. Adaptable to different soils and pH. If soil moisture is sufficient, can grow in full sun. Excellent in the shrub border, as an accent or in foundation planting.
