Comments: Considered exceptional for its autumn fall color ranging from crimson to maroon and named by Tim Brotzman of Brotzman's Nursery in Madison, Ohio. This plant will form a rounded shrub to about 9' tall. Foliage consists of alternate, simple leaves, 3-4" long by 2-3" wide, dark green during the summer. Its ½" wide flowers open late in mid-spring with deep golden yellow petals. Flowers have a brown to red center and appear light orange from a distance.
