Comments: A medium to large, deciduous shrub, growing 10' tall and slightly wider. Strap-shaped pale yellow, fragrant flowers with a red tint at their base open mid-January remaining effective for several weeks. Foliage consists of alternate, simple leaves with wavy margins, bluish green in summer, then yellow in the fall. A choice specimen for the winter landscape. Insect and disease resistant with only occasional powdery mildew problems.
