Comments: A medium to large, deciduous shrub, growing 10' tall and slightly wider. Strap-shaped golden-yellow flowers with a slight red tint at their base open mid-January remaining effective for several weeks with a pleasant fragrance. Foliage consists of alternate, simple leaves with wavy margins, bluish green in summer then yellow in the fall. A choice specimen for the winter landscape. Insect and disease resistant with only occasional powdery mildew problems.
