Comments: Fire Blaze witch-hazel forms a vase-shaped shrub to 10' tall by 12' wide. This is a likely hybrid originating as a chance seedling first grown in The Netherlands around 1993. Flowers on Fire Blaze are true to its name displaying glaring orange petals in mid-winter (January/February). Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soils in the spring or fall.
