Comments: A large, open, spreading deciduous tree with ascending branches, growing 45' high and 35' wide. No fruits or thorns on this cultivar! Bark is red-brown on younger trees, gray-brown and furrowed on older trees. A fast grower, and considered by many to be the best of the honey locusts. Casts light, dappled shade in which grass can grow.
