Comments: A witches'- broom selection found at The Bernheim Forest and Arboretum of Clermont, Kentucky. Overall size is speculative on this recently propagated broom, but likely to be less than 10'. The original broom is 3-4' tall and wide and reputedly a fleshy cone bearer. Leaves are in whorls, 2-lobed, smaller in size than is typical of the species, to 12" long. Medium green foliage assumes a pleasant yellow fall color.
