Comments: An Asiatic species where it grows as medium to large sized tree to 60-90'. Foliage consists of pinnately compound leaves, 3-7 leaflets per leaf, 5-15" in length, dark green in summer changing to yellow in autumn. Flowers are most borne in terminal clusters (Apr./May), white. Fruits are samaras turning red to brown when ripe and persistent into winter. This species is being evaluated for resistance to Emerald Ash Borer.
