Comments:
An upright, deciduous shrub growing dense in form with slightly nodding branches. Expect a height of up to 6' tall by 10' wide. This species blooms earlier than many other types but like other forsythia's, the major ornamental feature of this plant is its broght yellow flowers, which usher in the spring early, before the leaves unfold. Early forsythia is one of the hardiest species grown having bud hardiness to -20°F.
