.
.
Common name: Vermont Sun Manchurian forsythia

Comments: This deciduous flowering shrub is a sure sign spring is near when it is covered in its canary-yellow flowers. Many selections of this easy-to-grow garden favorite are not flower bud hardy in colder climates. This one is very cold tolerant surviving 25-30 below zero! It grows upright 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide. Prune just after flowering to ensure bud set for the following year.
