Comments:
There is no finer specimen tree than a well-grown European beech. This selection has beautiful dark green, narrow leaves with deeply incised leaf margins. The bark is smooth, gray, wrinkled on older trees creating a unique picturesque effect. The habit is oval rounded and 30' tall and 20' wide can be expected in 30 years. Fall color is golden bronze. A wonderful shade or specimen tree.
