An erect, upright, deciduous shrub with arching stems reaching 8-10' high and wide. Eventually flops over with age to form a more rounded outline. Grown for its dark green foliage (not flowers or fruit) which holds well into November. Excellent plant for naturalizing, or heavy soil, urban settings.
