Comments: A small- to medium-sized deciduous shrub to around 6' or less. Deutzias are noted for their early spring flowers, to approximately 1" wide and in this case, single and white. Leaves are opposite, strongly toothed along the margins, medium green in summer with yellow hues in autumn, 1-2" long. A twiggy shrub that grows best in full sun and well-drained soil that can be planted in the spring or fall.
