.
Common name: araucaria Japanese-cedar

Comments: A large, needled, evergreen shrub growing to 15' tall and wide. Needles are awl-shaped and densely crowded on slender whip-like branches. Needles are light to medium green in summer changing to lighter yellow-green in winter. A bizarre, coarse-looking evergreen, guaranteed to attract attention.
