Comments: A large shrub or small multi-stemmed deciduous tree can grow to 30' tall with an upright vase like shape. The foliage is rounded and bright green. The flowers are in clusters in June in billowy stalks giving them a smoke-like appearance. Fall color is an amazing orange to red and is one of the best fall color displays of any native North American species. Use as an accent, specimen or as a small shade tree.
