Comments: A deciduous shrub growing 9' tall and wide with a dense branching habit. Three inch long leaves unfold wine-red, but later soften to a purple-red. Flowers open in June/July as purple-pink, plume-like clusters persisting into late summer. Fall color is a gorgeous combination of reds, oranges and yellows.
