Comments: A deciduous shrub occupying moist, bottom lands. Can grow 12-15' tall with multiple, bronze-purple stems. Leaves are dark green, changing to bronze-red in the fall. Flowers open white in 2-3" wide clusters (May-June). Fruits ripen pale blue to white, supported on rose-purple peduncles. Forms good screen and fruits are attractive to wildlife.
