Comments:
A rounded, deciduous small tree growing 25' tall and nearly as wide. Foliage is dark green in summer turning deep red in the fall. Flowers occur June through July and have deep rose-pink- colored bracts 4" in diameter. Reputed to flower longer than typical. Red, pulpy fruit are 3/4". Use as a specimen.
