Comments: A very fast-growing, upright oval deciduous tree suitable for sites with poor, rocky, dry soil. In native habitat grows 30-40' tall, nearly as wide but probably more around 20' in Ohio. Summer leaves are glossy green, pinnately compound. Has survived -25F. Panicles of white flowers occur in June. Fruits are capsules containing winged seeds.
