Comments: A multi-stemmed, deciduous, growing 3-4' tall and wide. It has graceful arching purplish stems. White to purple flowers occur in small, dense clusters (cymes) in June. The fruit is unusual, being yellow and glandular in small clusters, lasting into winter. Useful as a specimen or in the shrub or perennial border. Top is killed back in most winters so it is best treated as a dieback shrub.
