Comments: This deciduous, vigorous tree can reach heights of 70'. Conical while young, it becomes more irregularly oval when older, retaining its horizontal branching habit. Male and female flowers appear on same tree. Woody female strobili offers interesting winter effect. Foliage is deeply lobed giving the tree a fine-textured appearance. Use as shade tree, specimen or in groups.
