Comments: A small tree that grows compactly to about 12' tall. Leaves are not as susceptible to the disfiguring leaf scorch as most other buckeyes. In May/June, many upright panicles of bright red flowers provide a show. Fruit is typical buckeye, a shiny dark brown nut enclosed in a leathery husk.
