Comments: A large, deciduous, upright oval shade tree growing 70' tall and often as wide. Leaves consist of 5-7 leaflets attached to stout, gray stems. Older bark is fissured into plate-like scales. Double, white flowers in terminal panicles occur in May. No fruit is produced. Best of the garden forms and very impressive as a specimen.
