Comments: A deciduous tree growing to 35' tall and wide. Flowers form mid- to late May as upright spikes of creamy yellow florets. This little known cultivar was selected for its resistance to late summer leaf scorch and improved fall color. Leaves are glossy green in summer sometimes taking on orange to red fall color. Bark is smooth, ash gray on young stems becoming dark brown to black on mature wood.
