Comments: A woody deciduous vine, climbing by means of twining stems to heights of 20' or more. Leaves broadly elliptic, sharply pointed at the tips. Foliage remains medium green throughout the summer taking on a poor, yellow fall color. Flowers open white to yellow in late May or early June. All species of this genus require both male and female plants to produce fruits. Fruits, in this case, are edible berries, green to spotted russet-green.
