A small tree to large, deciduous shrub, often with multi-stemmed trunks, growing 15-20' tall and wide. Yellowish white, fragrant flowers in May. Summer leaves are glossy, dark green but fall color is its outstanding quality being brilliant red. Makes a beautiful specimen, near patio, in groups or even in large above ground containers.
