Comments: A small-growing selection with large, bright red spring leaves which turn burgundy in summer. It develops into an upright, open tree and is said to be vigorous in growth to 15' tall and about half as wide. Fall color is brilliant crimson. Reputed to be more tolerant of heat and sun than many other selections. Use in the border or as a specimen.
