Arboretum view
The Dawes Arboretum is enriching lives through the conservation of trees and nature. Founded in 1929 by Beman and Bertie Dawes, The Arboretum was inspired by the couple’s love of trees and nature. Today we remain dedicated to our mission through providing exceptional educational programs and events as well as maintaining incredible horticulture collections. The Arboretum spans nearly 2,000 acres and includes beautiful gardens, extraordinary plant collections and distinctive natural areas.

Within this site, you are able to explore 13213 living collection plants (including 8012 images) located on The Arboretum’s grounds. This site is for pure horticulture information. For information on The Dawes Arboretum as a destination, please visit the main website at www.dawesarb.org.

Please note: The plants listed in this search are not for sale. We have an active exchange program with other like organizations worldwide. This search portal only returns results on plants cultivated on The Arboretum grounds in the living collections. It does not include nursery plants or bonsai material. If you are looking for additional information that is not listed within, please contact plantrecords@dawesarb.org.
