Comments: This deciduous tree was selected from the collections of Morton Arboretum in Illinois. It has a uniform, broadly conical habit with ascending branches and grows 20-25' tall and 15-20' wide in 15 years. It is reputed to adapt to a broad range of growing conditions and is tolerant of heat, drought, salt, and air pollution. With its light green, dense foliage it makes a great shade tree. Fall color is butter to golden yellow.
